Federal officials gave Lee County $1.1 million to help repair damage from hurricanes. The huge HUD money package will help fix homes and rebuild important community structures.

Officials approved the Draft Action Plan on Feb. 18, 2025. Local residents can now share their opinions until March 20, 2025, during the required 30-day review period.

The community can give feedback at the Estero Recreation Center meeting on March 5 at 5:30 p.m. They can also send comments by mail or email during the feedback period.

After everyone shares their thoughts, the final plan goes to HUD for approval. People can follow updates on the CDBG-DR webpage.
