On March 29, the outdoor stage at Fort Myers' Alliance for the Arts turns into a jazz hot spot. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., multi-Latin Grammy winner Alex Cuba and guitar master Stephane Wrembel hit the stage.

“Jazz on the Green offers something for everyone, from the seasoned jazz aficionado to those simply looking to enjoy a relaxing day outdoors,” the Alliance said in a statement to Wink News. “Guests can unwind on the lush festival grounds, savor the smooth rhythms and spontaneous improvisation and soak in the creative energy of this extraordinary event.“

General admission tickets are $45, while Alliance members get in for $35. Kids under 5 get in free. For those wanting the VIP experience, $1,500 tables seat eight people and come with a tent, cocktail service, and indoor bathroom access. There will also be vendors and food trucks available.

The show mixes big names with local talent. Jazz pianist Danny Sinoff plays alongside promising young musicians from local high schools, led by Eduardo Ortega.

The Alliance for the Arts is located at 10091 McGregor Boulevard in Fort Myers.
