Idaho Man Accused Of Using Homemade Barcode At Walmart
An Idaho man is accused of using a homemade barcode to buy a $300 grill from Walmart for the price of a tomato soup. You can’t do that.
The Caldwell Police Department took to Instagram to highlight a man who reportedly stole a grill from a Walmart in Caldwell, Idaho. The suspect has been caught and detained. He’s been identified as 32-year-old Dylan Rockwell. Unfortunately, it sounds like he won’t be able to enjoy that cheap grill he was able to obtain. Sounds like he might be eating more cafeteria-style food going forward and won’t have the chance to cook up anything delicious on that grill.

Caldwell Chief Of Police Rex Ingram tells Local 12, “Sorry Mr. Rockwell, your tactics didn’t work this time but we appreciate your creativity. We know that times are tough but your ingenuity got you some county soup for dinner.” Figured they were going to take a jab about the meals. You can’t resist it.
Rockwell has been charged with burglary (which is a felony). You can see his mugshot provided by the Caldwell Police Department below.
