What Is The 3K Calorie ‘T-Rex Burger’ On Wendy’s Secret Menu?
Have you heard about the 3K calorie T-Rex Burger on Wendy’s secret menu? It has 9 patties and started as a prank.
It’s believed that the T-Rex Burger at Wendy’s started as a prank by Sports Illustrated in 2004. However, the joke really seemed to take off and became a reality for some. It’s now going viral on Reddit where a person is talking about the fabled T-Rex Burger that’s allegedly on Wendy’s secret menu. It looks like the burger was actually being sold for $21.99 or $24.99 if you still have room for fries and a drink. Not sure how that could happen though. However, the burger was put to rest in 2013 when it was officially taken off the menu completely. However, a TikToker has tracked one down and attempted to eat it. This thing really has to be seen to be believed.
What Is The T-Rex Burger On Wendy’s Secret Menu?
Secret menu items are always a blast. It’s an unexpected treat that you often knew never existed or didn’t know was possible. I remember we would try to have McDonald’s give us Big Macs with McChickens before it was actually a thing. Anything is possible if you find the right employees at the right time I suppose. Sometimes, these secret menu hacks become big enough to be added to the notorious “Secret Menu.” The T-Rex Burger at Wendy’s is an example of that.
One commenter says they work at Wendy’s and tried to see how many patties they could get on a burger and ended at 10. They said they would never try that again. That sounds like a lot of beef. Where’s the beef? There! Other commenters seem confused by it and don’t even know where they would start biting. I can understand that. It would be fun to try but it can’t be good for you. 3,000 calories in one sitting is not ideal and your doctor can not recommend you doing that.
