This isn't exactly what you'd consider protecting and serving. The 20-year-old Polk County deputy admitted he did something stupid for the thrill and we can all agree it was not a smart decision. Now, he's been arrested and resigned from the sheriff's office.

It sounds like all of this could have been very easily prevented and should have never happened at all. Reports say he was outside of his own apartment complex when this happened! The incident happened in Davenport, Florida.
According to FOX 13, 20-year-old Rodney Isaiah Williams III was a Polk County sheriff's deputy and admitted to stepping outside of his apartment to touch himself "for the thrill" and went onto admit that he "did something stupid." How are you going to do that outside of your own apartment? You're right there! You can pleasure yourself all day inside your apartment safely and legally if you want to! Taking it outside is just asking for trouble--and a sheriff's deputy should know that!
Williams was reportedly arrested and promptly resigned otherwise he would have been terminated. Sheriff Grady Judd tells FOX 13, "This vulgar and indecent behavior by one of our now former agency members is completely unacceptable, not to mention illegal. We will never tolerate such immoral and illegal conduct. That is why he was promptly arrested." Now, he's been charged with 1 count of unlawful exposure of sexual organs. Williams was reportedly hired in November of 2023 and was off-duty when the incident occurred. You can see his mugshot provided by the Polk County Sheriff's Office below.

Shocking to hear, but it's just another day. There are so many better and more legal ways to find a thrill! This just doesn't make any sense and is asking for problems--and that's what he got. No word on how he was busted whether it was cameras or a witness.
