Plane Turns Back After Alleged Nude Aisle Run

An alleged nude aisle run had to turn a plane around! It's the latest example of problems in the sky!

Recently, there have been planes losing doors mid-flight, inappropriate jokes, dogs pooping on-board, missing bolts on wings, and now there's allegedly a man doing a nude aisle run. Here's more on the trending story.

According to NBC News, passengers aboard a virgin Australia flight from Perth to Melbourne had to watch a man do a nude aisle run on the flight--and even knocked a crew member to the floor! That is not what you want to witness on a flight (or anywhere). On a flight you're stuck there! Where can you go? That's an awful spot to see something like that.

NBC News reports that the disruptive passenger was handed over to Australian Federal Police once the plane landed after having to turn around. To make things worse, the flight was about half-way over when it had to turn around! NBC News reports it happened an hour and a half into a 3.5 hour flight. Those other passengers had to be incredibly frustrated!

In a statement, Federal Police said, "officers arrested a man after he allegedly ran naked through the aircraft mid-flight and knocked a crew member to the floor." Ah! So disgusting! The charges are still being finalized, but hopefully justice is served here. You have to imagine there were kids on that flight! A nude aisle run could be traumatic for them! Virgin Australia has apologized to the guests on the plane and those impacted.

If crazy things like this keep happening on planes eventually we're going to just settle on driving. Sure, it's a longer trip but it could end up being safer and more convenient when it's all said and done. Check out a video report from TODAY on YouTube below!
