This teacher, Ms. Laurie, has gone viral on TikTok after her and a second grade student had a dance battle to the “Veggie Dance” song. The Pennsylvania teacher says she challenged young Ahmad to the dance-off after he called her “old” pointing out her gray hair.

Well, don’t be fooled! They say you can’t judge a book by its cover and now Ahmad knows that from first hand experience! It’s great to see teachers have fun like this and engage their students. Sure, it’s viral and fun for all of us right now. However, having a teacher like that will stick with these students for years to come. Do you still remember your favorite teacher from elementary school? I bet they stand out for a reason. No doubt Ms. Laurie will stand out for these students for a long time. I’m sure this isn’t the only time she had some fun with them in the classroom.
