It seems like more is coming to light every day about Sean “Diddy” Combs. Peloton has reportedly “paused” the use of Diddy music and his series from its platform. TMZ reported that the company is pulling his music after the horrifying leaked video clip from 2016 of the rapper assaulting his Cassie surfaced.

According to the outlet, on Peloton’s private member's Facebook page, the fitness company stated, "We take this issue very seriously and can confirm Peloton has paused the use of Sean Combs' music, as well as removed the Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series, on our platform."

They added, "This means our instructors are no longer using his music in any newly produced classes. Again, thank you for sharing your concerns and thank you for being a member of our Peloton community."

Diddy Allegations Aftermath

The rapper was hit with several lawsuits late last year and early this year, including allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault. The cases remain active, and he has denied all claims against him.

A video was released by CNN showing him launching a brutal attack on his ex, Cassie, at a now-closed Los Angeles hotel. Since then, he’s issued an apology. Combs didn’t mention Cassie directly by name in his apology video. He mentioned in the video that he had hit “rock bottom.”

This apology wasn’t well received by many, with one person saying, “U sorry cus u got caught.” Another person said in response to the apology, “You called her a liar. Time did exactly what it was supposed to and you deserve every awful thing that’s coming your way.”

Losing Brand Partnerships

Diddy reportedly lost business partnerships amid multiple sexual assault allegations. In December 2023, VIBE reported that 18 brands ended their partnerships with the artist. Some of the brands that have reportedly cut ties include Empower Global, Tsuri, Nuudii System, No One Clothiers, Fulaba, and House of Takura.

In November 2023, Combs’ partnership with Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School was due to the allegations. According to multiple reports, the founder of the institute, Dr. Steven Perry, released a statement explaining their decision.

At this time, REVOLT confirmed the rapper stepped down as the company chairman. In a statement shared on Instagram, REVOLT explained why Diddy stepped down. They said, “Sean Combs has stepped down from his position as Chairman of REVOLT. While Mr. Combs has previously had no operational or day-to-day role in the business, this decision helps to ensure that REVOLT remains steadfastly focused on our mission to create meaningful content for the culture and amplify the voices of all Black people throughout this county and the diaspora.”

Also in December, Combs released a statement on Instagram proclaiming his innocence.  In the post, he asserted that he would fight for his name as people tried to “assassinate my character.”
