Drunk Naked Florida Man Found Sitting In Garbage Can
According to The Smoking Gun, Weeks was arguing with police that he was not subject to arrest and he "was allowed to be drunk and disorderly and sit naked in a trash can on the public sidewalk." Turns out, you can't do that.
Police say Weeks was intoxicated, unsteady on his feet, and smelled strongly of booze when they discovered him on a downtown street, per The Smoking Gun. He was removed from the trash can and arrested for disorderly intoxication and resisting an officer without violence. Turns out, it's not his first run-in with the law. He has previously been charged with a long list of crimes, including: theft, disorderly conduct, panhandling, criminal mischief, and a few other misdemeanors, according to The Smoking Gun.
Not sure if he actually believed he should be able to do that out in public, or if he was just being difficult but it sounds like Weeks is quite the menace. Additionally, he thought he didn't have to give officers his name and demographics, according to reports. Now, he's being dubbed the "Drunk Oscar The Grouch," after being discovered sitting in a garbage can. A very fitting nickname.
