Tales From The Kremlin: What Dark Sided Thing Was A Russian Woman Doing With Her Dead Husband’s Body?
Personally, I always sleep better when I’m sharing a bed with my girlfriend. I’m not sure why that is, but I have noticed it. Turns out, I’m not alone. This woman in Russia is taking that to whole new level. In Tales From The Kremlin, we find out what dark sided thing a Russia woman was doing with her dead husband’s body.
Well, from the information provided above you’ve probably guessed it. She was sleeping with his dead body. Not only that. She was sleeping with his dead body for four years!
What Was A Russian Woman Doing With Her Dead Husband’s Body?
According to The New York Post, the Russian mother-of-four slept with the mummified corpse of her dead husband for roughly four years, and also performed occult rituals inspired by Ancient Egypt.
The 50-year old Russian woman, identified as Svetlana, shared a bed with her dead husband’s remains and forbid her children from telling anyone about him. The New York Post says she said if it got out they’d risk going to an orphanage or a mental health facility.
The story only gets crazier from there. Turns out, the two had quite the history together. The New York Post reports that her husband died after a domestic dispute in 2020, and at the time his wife had “yelled at the man and wished him death.” Looks like she might be regretting that now.
According to The New York Post, she left her husband lie dead on the floor for hours thinking he was pretending. It wasn’t until their daughter pointed out something was wrong that they realized he was dead.
After years, authorities finally noticed what had happened, even though The New York Post reports that caseworkers had visited the family more than a dozen times in the past few years, but never noticed the father’s mummy in the bed. How do you not notice that? How bad must that placed have smelled to cover up a dead body? I can’t even imagine.
The New York Post says she had been telling people her husband was in Tibet receiving alternative medical treatment.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
