“You gotta go, you gotta go.” We’ve all been there. You’re waiting in a long line, and then notice there’s no line to get into that other bathroom. Well, it doesn’t always end up going the way you had planned. A guy has been arrested after shooting another man for using the women’s restroom.
The incident happened at a park in Redlands over the weekend. Now, authorities are investigating what went down.
Guy Arrested After Shooting Another Man For Using The Women’s Restroom
According to CBS News, the shooting happened at Sylvan Park around 4pm. Reports say the victim had attempted to use the men’s restroom, but turned around after seeing it was full. Instead, he went into the women’s room. During that time two girls went in and quickly left after seeing him in there, per CBS News.
Upon walking out, he was confronted by the suspect who has been identified as Rudy Daniel Vasquez. According to CBS News, he fired one shot at the victim’s knee and pistol whipped him in the head, which is when you hit another individual with the gun.
Witnesses at the park were shocked at what happened. According to friends of the victim, it was totally unprovoked and he often hangs at the park without incident. The victim remains unidentified and is reportedly in stable condition.
CBS News reports that Vasquez threw the gun out of his window when police tried to pull him over. He has since been arrested and is now facing an attempted murder charge over the incident. Not ideal!
Now, I get why some people might be bothered that another person switched lines while the rest were forced to wait. Also, it’s not the most gentlemanly thing to do. Fellas, don’t go in the women’s restroom. It’s probably best to just wait. I don’t think you’ll get shot over it at most places, but as you can see it does indeed happen!

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
