Dude Has A Close Call With A Truck
A man on foot has a terrifying close call with a huge cements truck that almost hit him during an accident on a bridge!
This video checks off a number of collective nightmares from some of us on the show! Andy has shared the story about a near miss that he had with a garbage truck on the road once. He has talked about how time seemed to slow down for him while it was happening and he often jokes about how he drives like an old lady now, exercising extra caution, as a direct result of the incident. Both Chuck and Al have had experiences where they spun out on the freeway. Lisa has referenced and incident that caused her to lose trust in cruise control for many years. Meanwhile, Dave’s fear of driving over bridges is well documented on the show.
One things that all of the stories above stories have in common is that the members of the show were all inside of their vehicles when their nightmares came true. Imagine how much worse a garbage truck barreling towards you would be if you were on foot, rather than from the relative safety that comes with being inside of your car, with airbags, anti-lock brakes and the shell of the vehicle itself. That’s what happened to the guy in this video.
Dashcam footage captures the moment when a giant cement truck narrowly misses a man, who was standing outside of his vehicle on the road! The incident happened this past November in British Columbia, Canada. There is a fair amount of chaos taking place in the video, including a loose trailer on the road and the guy’s close call with a huge track, that barely misses him! To make matters even scarier, this wasn’t just any road, but on what appears to be a bridge. It’s a true poop-your-pants moment for onlookers, let alone the man himself who was nearly flattened!
Why the guy was not in a vehicle is not made clear in the video. It is also unclear whether there were any injuries were sustained during the accident, but on the video everybody seems to be okay.
