If you’re wondering, Levy County is Southwest of Gainesville and borders the Gulf Of Mexico. Most of those counties are nearer to Georgia. Collier comes in number 64 of the 67 Florida counties in the 2024 Cost Of Living calculator. No surprise there with Naples. Elsewhere in Southwest Florida is Lee County at 49, and Charlotte at 38. Heading east and away from the coast is Hendry at number 18, at Glades at number 19. Florida really is just like anywhere else. Some places to live are just a lot more expensive than others.
