Florida Is Part Of Chip City’s Expansion With 2 New Locations Coming Soon
Florida just got a bit sweeter: Chip City Cookies plans to open two more Florida locations soon.
Chip City’s first Flordia location is in Sunset Harbour, at 1935 West Ave Miami Beach. They’re open seven days per week from 11 am – 10 pm. So, every day, you can walk into this cheerful shop that will immediately greet you with the slogan, “Have a Gooey Day.”
Let’s take a peek inside for those who are not familiar with what this cookie experience entails.
What Is Chip City Cookies?
This cookie store offers 41 different flavor options. They rotate on a weekly basis. “All the flavors were handcrafted and created to be as ooey and gooey as possible to satisfy your tastebuds,” Chip City states. In fact, you see each of the varieties here, where the cookies are listed in alphabetical order. Highlights and fan-favorites include, the oatmeal apple pie, sweet potato s’mores, and purple frosted wild berry strudel.
As for the classics, Chip City has you covered there too. There are two delicious chocolate chip options. They include your standard flavor and milk chocolate chip, which is a brown sugar mix, baked with milk chocolate chips. The monster chip includes orange and black M&M’s, and there is also a dairy-free chocolate chip version.
What Else There Is To Know
This cookie chain is expanding quickly. Lucky for us, the Sunshine State is a significant part of the expansion plans. New locations in Biscayne and Delray Beach are scheduled to open soon. In addition to the new Florida Chip City spots, there are eight new locations that are opening soon. However, all of the other new stores are in the northern part of the country, from Virginia up to Massachusetts.
Chip City also offers shipping nationwide and catering options. This week, you can get the white chocolate gingerbread special as part of their magical menu lineup.
Two Florida Restaurants Named Among The Best For French Fries
Do you want fries with that? Tasting Table recently published a list of restaurants with the best French Fries in the country and two New Florida establishments were named.
“From high-end steakhouses and neighborhood brasseries’ to fast food restaurants and even grocery store freezer aisles, fried spuds can be found in just about every type of restaurant or shop across the country,” Tasting Table explains. Their feature is specific to non-fast food restaurants.
French Fries are always a fan-favorite whether a side dish, an appetizer, or just a snack. They come in all shapes and sizes. Shoe strings crispy versions, thick-cut steak fries, seasoned curly fries, waffle fries, and even tater tots (are those considered fries, though?).
French Fry Fun Facts
In a 2019 story published by the Daily Meal, they discussed unique facts on French Fries in America. Two of the most fascinating have to do with McDonald’s. “Approximately 7 percent of the potatoes grown in the U.S. meet the same fate: they become McDonald’s french fries,” they said. They later stated that this fast food chain sells one-third of the French Fries consumed in the United States.
French Fries are like music. They are a common bond, and they are subjective. What one person prefers may be completely different from another. Better yet, both choices are correct.
For example, Best Things Florida released their list of best French Fries in the Sunshine State. It is completely different from Tasting Table’s. However, Tasting Table went and explored all corners of the country to crown their French Fry kings.
The two restaurants in Florida that were recognized for having some of the best French Fries in the country serve two very different styles. One of them is part of a restaurant that has expanded to other markets. The other is served in a restaurant where fries compliment BBQ.
