Video Of Two Cops That Ignored A Robbery Call To Play “Pokémon Go”
This incident actually happened a few years back, but they have just now released the dashcam footage of two police officers ignoring a back up call to continue playing ‘Pokémon Go’
Officers Louis Lozano and Eric Mitchell were fired back in 2018 they violated department policy by failing to respond to multiple backup calls for a robbery.
According to reports, an LAPD captain made a call for backup after responding to a robbery in involving multiple suspects who were fighting security officers. The dashcam footage shows that one of the officers groaned about not wanting to go on the call.
Another LAPD sergeant assisting on the call saw the two officers nearby and attempted to call them but there was no response. Instead the officers took off speeding to capture a Snorlax that was nearby.
Ultimately they found that the officers violated department policy and lied to superiors about what happened. They have been fired.
