Flying Car Backed By SpaceX Could Launch In 2025
Dave’s dreams of taking a flying car to work could be closer than he thinks!
Earlier this year, Alef Aeronautics hit a milestone when their Model A became the first “fully electric flying vehicle” to receive “special airworthiness certification” from the Federal Aviation Administration.
Now, the SpaceX-backed flying vehicle manufacturer is setting its sights on 2025, when the hope is that they’ll be able to bring it to the public. First editions of the Model A will reportedly be priced at $300K, but it’s believed that editions that follow will be “scalable.”
These flying cars are about the size of an SUV, measuring 17 feet long, seven feet wide, and six feet tall. It’s also an electric take-off and landing aircraft and will have a flying range of around 110 miles.
