Bonita Springs Mansion is Invaded By Woman with Stolen Dress and Sandwich
Well, it like we’ve got a real-life Goldilocks situation on our hands down here in Bonita Springs, Florida. Forget about porridge and baby bear’s bed. This time, it’s a multimillion-dollar Bonita Springs mansion and someone else’s sandwich.
Accordong to NBC2, a maintenance worker was keeping an eye on a luxurious beachfront palace while the homeowners soak up the sun elsewhere. But little did he know, there was a surprise guest lurking inside. Not a friendly little bear, it was a 54-year-old woman named Luisa Villa.
Now, I’m not Sherlock Holmes, but I’m pretty sure maintenance workers aren’t supposed to find black suitcases and unauthorized tenants when they go about their daily duties. This guy must have thought he stumbled into the strangest episode of “House Hunters” ever.
Bonita Springs Mansion:
But it gets better. When deputies stormed the place, they found Ms. Villa right there, in the middle of a bona fide housewarming party. She was munching away on a sandwich that wasn’t even hers. Talk about making yourself at home!
Now, Luisa wasn’t content with just crashing the party. This lady wanted to be the life of it. She had the audacity to claim she was the homeowner, brandishing some suspiciously fake paperwork. I mean, come on, Luisa, buying a multimillion-dollar beachfront mansion is a bit more complicated than faking your way through it!
Of course, our law enforcement heroes weren’t buying her story, so they did what any responsible officer would do. They called the actual homeowner. Surprise, surprise! The real homeowner had no clue who Luisa was. Looks like Luisa’s claim to mansion fame was about as solid as a sandcastle.
In the end, our would-be beach bum was promptly arrested. If you’re ever tempted to break into someone’s mansion and claim it as your own, maybe stick to renting a beachside cabana instead. It’s a lot less likely to land you a date with the local sheriff.
