Pink was left stunned over the weekend when one concertgoer threw a plastic bag of gray powder on stage. The singer-songwriter performed at London's BST Hyde Park Sunday for the first time in over a decade. As she began (June 25) performing her 2001 hit, "Just Like a Pill," the shocking moment went down. Visibly stunned, Pink, 43, paused the performance to confirm with the fan that it was their mother's ashes.

How Pink Handled The Ashes

"This is your mom?" the musician questioned the fan, mortified. "I don’t know how I feel about this." Pink then carefully moved the bag of their mother's remains behind a speaker near the edge of the stage in front of her. Wearing her emotions on her face, a dazed Pink took a second to collect herself before diving back into the song. Despite the strange encounter, Pink hardly missed a beat. It seemed quite morbid but fitting that the next line sung out of her was: "I can't stay on your life support, there's a shortage in the switch. I can't stay on your morphine 'cause it's making me itch." Watch the video footage of the moment below.

The London concert was a part of two joint shows where Pink was joined by Gwen Stefani. Though Pink said she hasn't performed at Hyde Park in over a decade, Stefani hasn't performed in the UK in 16 years. Stefani, 53, performed 16 songs for a little over an hour during her slot, performing both her solo work and beloved No Doubt songs. During her rendition of "Rich Girl," Gwen surprised the crowd when she brought out Eve to join her. The duo then segued into their hit "Let Me Blow Your Mind." Closing out her set, Stefani had the crowd going bananas with "Hollaback Girl," in which the backing dancers held giant bananas.

Earlier this month, the "What About Us" singer kicked off her 2023-2024 Summer Carnival tour in support of her February album TRUSTFALL. She is joined by supporting acts Pat Benatar, Brandi Carlile, The Script, Grouplove, and more. She will be coming to the US for 20 dates, starting with Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 26. Closing out her US tour stops in Phoenix, Arizona, on October 9. See the full list of US dates here.
