It’s time to go straight back to the 90s kids. Believe it or not, it’s been a whopping 25 years since the phenomenon known as FURBY-MANIA swept the globe. And guess what? Hasbro, the masterminds behind these chirpy little critters, have decided to bring them back for their 25th anniversary. Can you hear the collective nostalgic squeals of millennials everywhere?

“What? Furby is making a comeback?” That’s right, my friends. According to People, Furby is back in business after taking a little hiatus since 2016. And this new version comes with some fancy upgrades. We’re talking “five voice-activated modes” and over 600 responses. Plus, it can interact with other Furbys, so you can buy a whole Furby squad and create your very own Furby army.

This modern-day Furby is more touchy-feely than ever before. It responds to hugs, pats, belly tickles, and even shaking. Though don’t shake the furby. It’s just not polite. Though, I can’t help but notice how quiet it remains when someone in the household is shelling out a cool $70 for another overpriced piece of 25-year-old nostalgia. Oh, Furby, you sly little rascal.

If you’re already reaching for your wallets, hold your horses. Furby is currently available online on the mighty Amazon for a solid $70. But fear not, my impatient pals, because it’ll hit the shelves of most major retailers next month. So mark your calendars and prepare for a Furby frenzy like no other.

Back in the day, when Furby first emerged from its cuddly cocoon in 1998, it sold over 40 million units worldwide in just three years. Imagine how many more it could have sold if people could actually get their hands on the darn things.

So, brace yourselves, ladies and gentlemen, because Furby is making a comeback. Get ready to relive the joy, the frustration, and the countless hours spent trying to decipher the language of these whimsical robotic companions. Let the Furby frenzy begin once more.

If you’re like me, you got a taste of the work-from-home environment during Covid. And now you want more of it. There were times I took my laptop out and sat by the pool while doing my job. Now I’m back in an office freezing because someone in charge wants the thermostat set to 72. I’m from Florida! I like it warm!
