Burglar Posts An Apology To Victim While Cops Try To Track Him Down
Cops in Philadelphia are on the hunt for a man that broke into a home, stole some property, then commented on a social media post apologizing for the crime.
Paige Tauscher owns a home in the Philadelphia neighborhood of Fishtown. Sadly, she was recently the victim of a home break-in, where the burglar made off with $5K designer purses, cash, and credit cards.
On Facebook, Tauscher posted a video of the crime taken by her security camera, and that post may have, in turn, made the job easier for the cops.
According to reports, the thief saw the Facebook post…and posted a comment in response admitting to being the criminal and apologizing and asking for forgiveness.
Cops are now searching for the suspect, and there’s thought the same person might be responsible for other break-ins in the area.
