Café Owner Kidnaps Worker She Caught Stealing
In Australia, the owner of a Vietnamese restaurant admitted to kidnapping and holding for ransom an employee she believed was stealing from her.
The café owner and her partners noticed that money kept coming up missing every few days. They eventually busted a former employee with his hands in the cash register. They learned that the ex-employee had made copies of the restaurant keys and was sneaking in every few days to take money.
The café owner and her partners then assaulted the former kitchen aide, cut his hair, then shoved him the back seat of car while they drove to his mothers house. There they tried to demand money from his mother and threatened to go to the police if they did not pay.
The mom wanted to see footage of the theft and agreed to pay. They then released him in a nearby park.
The owner admitted to the kidnapping and is facing jail time.
