A member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, NL Rookie of the Year, Two Time World Series Champion and 14 Time NL All Star. Johnny Bench is one of the greatest catchers to ever play the game. He was also a very enjoyable guest on the Stan and Haney Show. Johnny first came on the show in 1998. During that time he spent much of his time in Southwest Florida. In fact he was a regular listener of the Stan and Haney Show back then. In 2008 he made his second appearance on the show in promotion of his new book, “Catch Every Ball: How to Handle Life’s Pitches.” In this interview Johnny reminisces about some of the amazing ups and down in his life and his feelings about the game today.
