Tupac Shakur Arrested For Attacking Florida Man With Bat
Out on bail, fresh outta jail, California Dreamin’… First, you’re not hallucinating. A 34-year-old Florida woman named Tupac Amaru Shakur had a run in with five-oh this week. Investigators say the woman stands accused of rapping a man on the head with a baseball bat on Tuesday.
While the woman shares her name with the legendary deceased hip hop artist, they are not related. Police say Shakur approached a 65-year-old man as he sat on a bench and then attacked him with a baseball bat, swinging the weapon at him several times before he was able to grab the weapon and escape from the scene. Luckily, the attack happened just outside a hospital, and the victim was able to seek treatment almost immediately. The victim was treated for several cuts on his skull and face. Moments later, officers say Shakur entered the hospital and told employees tht she had just been beaten by the vicitm. After a short investigation which included watching video fomr the actual altercation, it was determined that the woman was the attacker and the man was the victim. Shakur was taken into custody and is being held on $10,000 bond. The even stranger part? The day following the attack was the 26th anniversary of the shooting of the real Tupac Shakur. The rapper died six days later, on September 13th. He was 25 years old. Source: WFTV.com
