A Dad Drops His Daughter Off for Her First Day of School, Then Wrestled an Alligator!
A dad in Texas had a more eventful first school day than most parents this week! His took his daughter to her first day of middle school . . . then came home and wrestled an ALLIGATOR that was in their driveway.
What’s humorous about this story is that the daughter had told her father about the alligator before they left the house but he thought she was just trying to get out of going to school. Then when he saw the alligator he prioritized. Took her to school and then came back to handle the alligator!

Honorable Mention – Menorah Socks
Not much more needs to be said. They are cozy, fuzzy socks with a Menorah on them. I can’t lie, they are comfortable and one of the gifts I’ve actually used!6. The Mensch on a Bench
The Mensch on a Bench is essentially the ‘Elf on the Shelf’ for Jewish folks and I was confused by this gift because I didn’t have a kid at the time. Maybe he had a premonition a few years ago that I would be needing it in the future, or his search history for all my Jewish gifts recommended it and he was running out of ideas.
5. Jerusalem Purse
This is one of the strangest presents I received from Dave. He claims it is a bag to use while grocery shopping but I think it’s 100% a handbag purse. Unfortunately for him, his money could have been better spent because it has never left my office.
4. Deck the Halls with Matzo Balls sweater
One year for Hanukkah Dave gave me a couple items to store in my office. First, A Deck the Halls with Matzo Balls sweater that could be used for an ugly sweater Holiday party.
3. Hannukah Shirt and Tie
Second, a long-sleeve bright yellow Menorah t-shirt that has a fake tie on it, like a Jewish Tuxedo t-shirt that I almost wore at my wedding but my wife Jessi wasn’t on board.
