It’s easy to forget that we are in their world, ya know? Whenever we walk into the ocean, we are surrounded by the unknown. But the chances of being attacked, contrary to popular belief, are actually extremely low. That doesn’t mean critters aren’t circling and observing us as we splash and relax in the water.
Check out this video from Daytona Beach. As beachgoers cool off and relax, a 7-foot shark quietly swims directly next to them. The video is courtesy of a drone that was flying overhead as the scene unfolded. The video was taken by a tourist who was in town for a family reunion. He said he’d only been filming for a couple of minutes before he spotted the shark. The man said the shark swam close to about 12 different groups of swimmers while he was there, aiming directly at them until swerving away at the last moment. The man said none of the beahcgoers noticed the shark, but most waved at his drone hovering above them. Source: WFLA.com
