In 2002 Stan and Haney welcomed back to the show for another interview one of the innovators of Dance and Rock n Roll, Chubby Checker.
It was Chubby who lead the Twist craze of the 1960’s. Twice his version of the song “The Twist” hit number one on the Billboard charts.
At the time Chubby was in the food business promoting his beef jerky. He was also speaking out to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame demanding that he be recognized with a statue in front of the hall for all his contributions.
Here is Stan and Haney’s second visit with Mr. Twist himself.
