In 1998 when Stan and Haney spoke with Chaz Bono, the transsexual child of musical icons Sonny and Cher, he was still a woman known as Chastity. The writer, musician and actor had just come out with a new book detailing her life to that point. In it Chaz discusses the relationship struggles with her parents and coming out as a lesbian. Chaz also talks about her future political plans and growing up with famous parents who had a popular network TV show and numerous top 40 hits.
