A Mayor Drunkenly Crashed Her Car After Meeting with Families of Drunk Driving Victims
A mayor in Australia has apologized, after she drunkenly crashed into a tree last week . . . ABOUT AN HOUR after she met with the families of drunk driving victims, and promised to help make the streets safer.
According to reports Redlands Mayor Karen Williams had a virtual meeting some families that had lost loved ones in DUI related accidents. During which she expressed her condolences to the tragic loses the families endured and also stated she wanted to dedicate political legacy to address drunk driving and road safety.
Williams later had consumed some wine and was involved in a crash. The 55-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. No one else was injured.
The mayor issued an apology for the incident.
