A former cop robbed a Family Dollar at GUNPOINT in North Carolina last Saturday. But then he brought the money back and told the clerk, “I can’t do this.”
63-year-old Richard William Dunn was an officer for the Raleigh Police Department from 1983 to 2003. Even though he had a change of heart he was still arrested when officers arrived. They found Dunn in the parking lot trying to get into his vehicle. He had locked himself out.
Dunn was arrested for armed robbery.
