Luggage Thief Busted After Being Spotted Wearing Stolen Family’s Clothes
A Florida man was busted stealing luggage after he was spotted wearing the stolen clothes around the beach.
According to police in Clearwater, a homeless man named Mark Brienza, found a luggage claim ticket to a local resort. He took the ticket to the resort and claimed the luggage that the ticket was for.
The owners of the luggage saw Brienza riding a bike around wearing some of their clothes and reported it to police. Police tracked him down and he eventually confessed to stealing the luggage. He apologized to the family and said he felt bad for taking the luggage away from the family.
Most of the stolen items were recovered and Brienza is facing charges for grand theft.
