Cape Coral Kids Charged With Spraying Silly String
At first, I was like, no way can this be real, but two kids in Cape Coral are facing charges of battery after spraying some other kids with silly string. Yes, seriously.
In this day and age, people should be happy that all it was WAS silly string. The incident took place at the Ice Cream Club last Saturday night when police were called after two minors said they got shot with silly string by two boys that ran up to them. Because they were under 18, the parents were notified and they decided to press charges.
One parent named Suzanne Johnson said, “It’s called silly string. It’s silly. I think it’s very excessive. Another, Aiden Sanchez said, “I’d be mad for a second but I wouldn’t press charges for anything.”
NBC2 reports that police found the kids nearby and gave them each a notice to appear on two counts of battery.
