We’ve been hearing so much over the last year about unruly passengers on airplanes, and this is no different as an Irish man mooned a flight attendant after refusing to wear a mask.
The Delta Airlines flight was going from Dublin to New York when according to a federal complaint, 29 year-old Shane McInerney “refused to wear a mask, threw a can that hit another passenger, and pulled down his pants and exposed his buttocks to a flight attendant”.
McInerney caused many disturbances while on the flight, and the pilot even tried to speak with him at one point, as he complained about the food, refused many requests to wear his mask, and wouldn’t stay in his seat.
In a statement, Delta said the airline “has zero tolerance for unruly behavior at our airports and aboard our aircraft as nothing is more important that the safety of our people and our customers.”
McInerney was taken into custody upon landing at JFK and has been charged with interfering with flight crew, a felony.
