Why Did a Florida Man Have a Bacon Meltdown?
Cape Coral police were called about a disturbance at a Waffle House. When they arrived they found Martin Alvarez having a meltdown with restaurant staff.
Alvarez was shirtless and screaming racial slurs at the staff cooking his bacon when officers showed up. He was concerned that they wouldn’t be able to cook the bacon “the way he likes it.”
When officers attempted to detain him he refused and they had to threaten him with a taser. He was arrested and charged for resisting an officer, disorderly intoxication, and simple assault with intent to do violence.
