Florida Man Accused Of Pepper-Spraying Police
Usually when you hear of people being pepper-sprayed it’s deputies doing the job, but in this case a Florida man is accused of pepper-spraying police that were trying to detain him.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office got a complaint about 32 year-old Sean Perkins who set up camp on military property near Fort Walton Beach. When they arrived, he tried running into traffic and when deputies tried to detain him, he sprayed pepper spray in their faces and swung on one of them before they tased him and got him in cuffs.
NBC2 reports that Perkins was arrested and faces charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, with violence and resisting arrest without violence.
