Florida could become the next state to allow gun owners to open carry.
NBC2 reports that a new bill has been introduced by Republican Representative Anthony Sabatini that would make it legal to carry a gun openly in public without a permit.
At this time, Florida requires a permit to conceal carry, with the exception of carrying a gun while fishing, hunting or shooting at a range.
31 states allow people to openly carry a gun without a license.
This isn’t the first try to get open carry laws passed, but with enough votes it could in 2022.
