New TikTok Trend ‘Devious Licks’ Enters SWFL

Another week, another TikTok trend.. this one called Devious Licks and it's here with a vengeance in SWFL.

So what is Devious Licks? It's where kids go into school bathrooms and steal anything and everything from urinals to soap dispensers, leaving some bathrooms closed. NBC2 reports that at Gulf Coast High School, one student tried to steal the entire sink.

So while they're not exactly licking anything, here at least, the things they steal, according to TikTok are called “licks.” Students take their “licks”as a trophy for not getting caught.

One student said, "Not as dumb as a tide pod challenge, but it’s maybe up there a little bit."

Yeah, I'd say.
