Police Searching For Missing North Port Woman
Police are searching for a missing North Port Woman.
According to NBC2, 22-year-old Gabrielle Petito was reported missing by her family on September 11th.
The woman was on a cross-country van trip with her boyfriend at the time of her disappearance. Her family last heard from her during the last week of August, where they believe she was at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.
The van they were traveling in is a 2012 white Ford transit van, which according to police, was recovered in North Port.
Gabrielle and her boyfriend Brian Laundrie had a YouTube Channel that documented their travels.
Police say Petito is 5 feet 5 inches tall, 110 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. She also has several tattoos including one on her finger and one on her forearm that reads ‘let it be’.
