“I don’t tolerate violent behavior of any kind! It’s completely unacceptable,” stated Sheriff Carmine Marceno. “If you threaten the safety of any resident of Lee County, you will go to jail.”On Tuesday, September 7th, South District deputies were dispatched to Carter Road in Estero after receiving reports of a man brandishing a firearm at a commercial vehicle driver. Deputies responded to the area and made contact with the driver from Premier Portables, who stated that a man had pointed a firearm at him and his service truck. Deputies went to the suspect's residence and began an investigation into the incident. Deputies identified the suspect as Kenneth Wrench (DOB 01/15/1949). Due to the nature of the incident, our South District Criminal Investigations Division detectives responded to the scene to assume the investigation.
