MIAMI - MAY 17: Tom Batchelor puts his hand in the mouth of an alligator during a wildlife show at the Gator Park in the Florida Everglades May 17, 2006 in Miami-Dade County. There has been a record three deaths attributed to alligator attacks in Florida in the month of May. Tom blames the recent deaths on alligators that have become comfortable around human beings. "They lose their fear of man, associate man with food and eventually man becomes food", he said. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images)

One second you’re enjoying a nice walk down a path, the next you’re getting attacked by a gator. Welcome to the strange world of Florida!

This happened at Wa-Ke Hatchee Park in south Fort Myers when a 60-year-old man was attacked by an Alligator.

Luckily another person was nearby on the path and called 911.

The man is being treated for serious injuries to his arm and torso.

If anyone runs into a gator that might be considered dangerous, you can report it to the Nuisance Alligator Hotline at 866-FWC-GATOR (866-392-4286).

Junior is the producer of the Stan and Haney show. He's a sucker for gelato and watching Hulu shows. When he's not working, he's probably exercising excessively, reading endless books, or taking long walks on the dog beach by himself. Because why not?
