A Florida Highway Patrolman was stopped at a stoplight in Ocala when all of a sudden a car rear-ended his 2021 Chevrolet Camaro.
The man who hit his car was Morris Eliott Moore, a convicted felon.
Moore then proceeded to rob the trooper of his watch, cell phone, wallet, and ended up stealing his car altogether.
After Moore drove off with the trooper’s car. The female passenger of Moore’s car hopped in the driver’s side and followed him.
Fortunately, the trooper had Onstar in his vehicle and was able to have them disable the vehicle.
After the car was disabled, Moore led a chase on foot.
He hid under a dock of a nearby pond and officers were able to quickly find him with the help of K-9’s.
Moore was taken to jail and the female passenger is still on the run.
