Florida Woman Arrested For Leaving Bong And Shotgun Near Grand Kids While Grandpa Overdosed
62-year-old, Melodie Bynum, is in a heap of trouble after her husband overdosed and called the ambulance.
Bynum was cooking breakfast for her grandchildren when she noticed she hasn’t seen her husband in a while.
She found her husband unresponsive due to an overdose. She called the ambulance and he had to be revived with Narcan by first responders.
But there was something else very wrong with the situation.
First responders found a loaded shotgun and a bong in the home. The children could have very easily accessed both.
Upon a further search, deputies found 10.3 grams of crack-cocaine, multiple guns with ammunition, brass knuckles, and $11,460 in cash hidden behind the washing machine.
By the way, Bynum and her husband are both convicted felons and cannot own firearms.
Bynum’s husband was taken to the hospital to recover from the overdose, and Bynum was arrested and taken to jail.
