“Ultimate Slip ‘N Slide” Halts Production Due To Explosive Diarrhea
There’s been a few TV shows I would’ve liked to have been a part of over the years, but I think the one I’m most qualified for is “Ultimate Slip ‘N Slide“…however I’m glad I wasn’t there for this…
“Ultimate Slip ‘N Slide” is a new show hosted by comedians Bobby Moynihan and Ron Funches that’s going to debut this August on NBC, but production had to shut down because of . . . EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA.
There was an outbreak of giardia, a parasite that causes gastrointestinal issues. The Wrap reported that up to 40 crew members fell violently ill, with people running to port-o-potties, and some people even collapsing.
The show only has about another week of taping left, and while they don’t want to return to that location in California, they’re working on figuring out where to go next to finish production.
Ultimate Slip ‘N Slide is described as “fresh take on Wham-O’s iconic 1960s outdoor game” that “takes the spirit of the classic backyard slide and transforms it into a real-life water park full of gigantic slippery rides with the chance to take home a big cash prize,” according to a press release.
