I have to say, for me, this would be the cutest thing to see upon walking into work. Free snuggles for everyone!

Fort Myers Police say a young black bear was found inside Hurricane Safe Shutters this morning.

Good Tuesday morning City of Fort Myers. We are just a few days late for #NationalBlackBearDay but this little guy made an appearance along Earl Road this morning. Officers monitored the bear until @floridafwc arrived to relocate the bear to its natural habitat.

The bear appeared to be very calm and just lounging around until the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission were able to respond and relocate the bear to a remote area in Collier County.

FWC says if you come face to face with a bear, you should speak calmly to it and slowly back away, then call 911 as soon as possible.
