Two Heckin Good Doggos Abandoned In Lehigh Acres
According to a witness, a red truck with chipped paint and a red camper pulled up to the intersection of Olive Avenue North and 64th Street Westin in Lehigh Acres and abandoned two dogs.
The dogs had handwritten notes on their collars that read, “I need a home” and had their names written out also. Their names are 8ball and Lil Mama.
DAS thinks that Lil Mama is a 6-month-old Boxer and Pitbull Terrier mix, while 8ball is of a different mixture and around 7-years-old.
Abandoning your animals is a misdemeanor offense and The Animal Cruelty Task Force is currently investigating.
The dogs will be on a 3-day hold and after that hold, they will be evaluated for adoption.
Anyone with information on the previous owners is encouraged to contact LCSO or SWFL Crimestoppers.
