Message in a bottle travels for 30 years and gets discovered
A bottle with a handwritten message inside of it was dropped into the Green River back in December of 1990 and was just discovered over weekend…250 miles away.
A family that was out treasure hunting near a local lake in Tennessee found the bottle. The note was signed John and Trina and the family that found the bottle was hoping someone knew who John and Trina were so they posted on Facebook and in LESS THAN AN HOUR they found them.
John and Trina threw the message in a bottle into the river because they also enjoyed looking for treasures on the shores and thought it would be neat to find a bottle with a message inside, bet they had no idea it would take 30 years for the message to find a receiver.
