A Georgia man that was waiting for his final paycheck from his former employer said instead of a pay check or direct deposit his former employer paid him in the form of 500 pounds of oil-covered pennies.
The man submitted his 2 week notice to quit his job back in November, he was leaving due to a toxic work environment, and says the employer had a visibly negative reaction to the notice.
The ex-employee also claimed that the company still owed him for work completed and when he called to inquire about the payment not showing up like he was told. The ex-boss accused him of damages. So he contacted the Georgia Department of Labor.
