After around two years of allowing women into the ranks of the Boy Scouts, SWFL welcomes their first female Eagle Scout!

Megan Wolfe of Cape Coral had only 22 months to climb the ranks of Eagle Scout. The cut-off age for acquiring the rank of Eagle is 18.

She said, “I was really excited about it. It means a lot to my entire family, and it means a lot to me.”

She plans on becoming a veterinary assistant after graduating from Mariner High School.
