A woman in California was singing "Happy Birthday" to someone on her phone while she was driving last week . . . and drove straight into an icy river.
Fortunately for her, a FedEx guy saw what happened and ran into the river to rescue her. You can see the woman's car in the river in the picture below.
Brandon Alt was the FedEx driver that sprung to action. He says he was the only other person on the road that saw the accident so he had to do something. He climbed down the riverbed and waded through the freezing ice cold water to the car and helped the driver escape through the back door.
