This video from Drumeo, a drum tutorial website, featuring jazz drummer Larnell Lewis is equal parts heavy metal lesson and magic trick thanks to the classic Metallica song "Enter Sandman."

Per the video's YouTube description, Drumeo writes, "The last time Larnell Lewis came out to Drumeo, we challenged him to write a drum part - on the spot - to a song he'd never heard before and he blew everyone away. This time, Larnell wanted to try a style he's not known for playing: metal!"

Watching Lewis listening to "Enter Sandman" for the first time ever and really taking the song in is pretty entertaining and will likely bring back memories for those who can remember hearing the monster track for the first time. But then it comes time to perform "Enter Sandman," and Lewis just nails the track after hearing it only one time.

The whole nearly 18-minute video is worth a watch, but if you're crunched for time, Lewis's performance of "Enter Sandman" begins at the 9:33 mark.
