Eli Priestly Brown, 46, of Long Beach, Calif., was arrested after he tried to board a plane at the Orlando International Airport with 22 lbs of crystal meth. It was one of the largest drug busts seen at that airport.
Brown’s bag was searched at the gate and the agents found a crystal-like substance in multiple plastic baggies. When tested, it came back positive for crystal meth.
The meth had an estimated street value of half a million dollars. He was also carrying $900 in cash.
He tried pulling the ole “this isn’t my bag” excuse. But then admitted to doing a drug exchange in one of the bathrooms at the airport.
He also admitted to doing this three times in the past.
